Delete your dokidoki account and related data

How to request deletion

1. Send an email to service@tryjoy.co.jp.
2. Use the subject line: "dokidoki account deletion request".
3. In the email body, include information that can identify the account you want deleted, such as your registered phone number, email address, user ID, or in-app nickname where applicable.
4. If we reply to verify your identity or request additional confirmation, please follow the instructions in that reply.

After identity verification is completed, we will normally process the deletion within 30 days. If extra time is required for legal, security, fraud prevention, or dispute handling reasons, we will explain the reason where possible.

Data that will be deleted

Deletion may include account identifiers, profile information, nickname, avatar, app settings, usage data associated with the account, and personal information no longer needed for customer support.

Data that may be retained and retention periods

Records required for payments, transactions, accounting, tax, and legal compliance may be retained for up to 7 years where required by applicable law. Fraud prevention and security logs may be retained for up to 180 days where necessary. Deletion request and customer support records may be retained for up to 3 years to confirm response history. Non-identifying statistics or anonymized data may be retained for service improvement.
